A volunteer packet must be completed every year.

The volunteer process can be lengthy. So beat the rush from other schools and get started today!

As noted in the Volunteer Packet (attached to the right), only those new to volunteering (or who have had a break in volunteering in the past school year) need to be fingerprinted. Returning volunteers simply need to complete the SCUSD Volunteer Registration Form and complete (and show proof of completion) of the Mandated Reporter Training.

If you are a new volunteer and need to be fingerprinted ($47 ), please use this link to sign up to be fingerprinted at the district office (5735 47th avenue). *Don’t forget to take your completed packet with you! (If you need help covering the $47 fee, please reach out to the PTA President for support!)

Other Information:

• Provide a TB clearance to the school site.  TB clearances must be updated every 4 years. (Completed through your health care provider).
• Every volunteer MUST complete the Mandated Reporter Training every TWO YEARS. (This is a new policy, so check with Ms. Z in the front office to verify the expiration date on your certificate if you turned it in during the 23-24 school year.)
